Heart Of The Deernicorn is a studio and workshop in downtown Olympia. We make beautiful games to inspire creativity, build community, and expand our sense of possibility.
Games build empathy and bring us closer together and collaborative play builds strong connections between the players, helping us all to harness our innate creativity.
Play offers us a space to explore without the limitations we face in our ordinary lives. It is possible through game design to model different identities and cultures, creating an immersive experience where we can, for a time, gain a sense of what life might be like. These new perspectives build empathy, and change our sense of what is possible in the world.
